**Where Your Career is a Force for Good*** Responsibilities
1. Perform information retrieval and reference searches for library users, and act as a resource for electronic tools and resources.
2. Distribute relevant articles on current scientific research to appropriate personnel.
3. Serve as primary contact on requests for specialized on-line information searches.
4. Order and receive business, scientific and technical books, periodicals, and government reports\*This is a temporary and part time position\** **WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field required or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience required.
Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to handle multiple priorities effectively, and have working knowledge of computers. Ability to work on a team.*The salary range for this position is $45.00/hr - $55.00/hr.**Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.***BENEFITS FOR YOU:**As a mission-based organization, we believe our team needs great support to do great work.
