The Sr. Specialist - Marketing Pod performs on going tasks to support the Pod team in developing and executing marketing strategies for a subset of grouped properties.

The following are key responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator role:

Act as a project owner for assigned marketing jobs:

Manage project lifecycle from ideation to deployment in a timely manner

Initiate and expedite workflow process through Salesforce marketing process tool

Maintain and review marketing calendars

Lead recurring calls to discuss tracking and marketing jobs set up for the entire POD

Ensure expenses for the event are within budget and strategic initiatives

Set up guests criteria, offer values, and makes changes based on manager/director direction

Set up coupon structure and offer details based on manager/director direction

Coordinate with on-site marketing team to track execution of marketing activities and ensuring all execution issues resolved

Tracking inputs and feedback from other marketing functions on calendar plans

Manage post event follow ups and reconcile expenses

Make improvements to templates and processes and creates tools in support of business needs

Complete execution details for assigned marketing jobs:

Develop event and offer details for assigned marketing jobs in conjunction with property partners and POD leadership

Review rules and regulations for Events and Promotions and works with property partners to ensure accurate details and submission to regulatory agencies.

Actively work with Advantage Promotional Systems (APS) software team and property partners in the requesting, development and testing of APS programs.

Source and submit purchase orders for gifts/ gift cards/ cars needed for event execution

Handle contracts with 3rd party vendors

Develop and maintain basic relationships with vendors essential to completing the jobs both internal and external

Manage communication messaging:

Develop mail plan for subset of properties

Develop creative guidance and layouts for mail pieces

Draft value proposition and compelling copy

Review, provide critical creative feedback

Approve marketing material based on factual job details and basic creative guidance

Create and maintain media grids

Serves as senior "go to"? person for the team:

Train new team members and answers questions from existing team members

Assist with assignments of marketing jobs to the team

Reviews proformas and counts if manager is not available

Work with peers within and across Pod teams to ensure collaboration and best practice sharing across Pods. Pod Coordinators interface and interact with the following groups:

Enterprise wide Property Events Team

DM Team

Audit

Analytics

Property Senior Marketing Leaders

External Vendor Group

Internal Service Group

Studio

Brand

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field preferred

One year previous Marketing experience within the Casino industry

Computer literate; experience working with Salesforce products a plus.

Must be able to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multi-tasking fast-paced environment

Minimum 21 years of age

Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building and problem-solving skills are required

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Understanding of business acumen necessary to troubleshoot and solve problems with moderate guidance from supervisor

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize activities

Must successfully be able to present a vision and create advocates

Ability to be vocal with ideas and also not afraid to present challenges to property partners, senior team, and their peer set

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
