Content Manager Location: Glendale, CA (Remote, Onsite as needed) Job Type: 9 Months (Possibility of Extension) Pay: $60/hr Job Description The Special Events team produces creative and turnkey internal and external-facing events, meetings and conferences on various levels and scale. This position supports the Event Production, Project Management, and Digital Teams for D23: The Client Fan Event 2026 as a Content Manager for content development, tracking review, approval, and publication. Responsibilities Manage content development, tracking, review, and approval for guest emails, web, app, and other guest communications content formats relating to the event. Prepare and manage tracker for Guest Comms and solidify workflows with Editorial, Project Management, Legal, D23, and Event Production. Make necessary updates to the template and workflow, and ensure all training takes place ahead of content being reviewed for publication and any relevant form closures (set by end of January 2026 for general content and end of April 2026 for content from forms). Ensure continued adherence to process and tracking by all parties at all levels. In partnership with the Project Manager and Event Producer, manage the intake of listings from Sponsors and BUs for Guest Comms. Review and transfer this information from intake to tracker. Ensure listings are routed and reviewed consistently by stakeholder groups (Editorial, Project Management, Legal, D23, and Event Production) by designated deadlines for delivery for reservations, app, web, and other guest communications content formats (Guest Informational Emails, Event Guide, Staff Guide, etc.). Manage and facilitate all change requests for listings, ensuring all stakeholder groups maintain visibility to all phases of changes and listings are rerouted as needed to stakeholders. Interface with BUs, Sponsor Team, and other stakeholders to track changing information as necessary. As needed, working with Event Producer, Marketing, and other stakeholders reference example content and information, draft guest information content relating to Fan Events. Support the Project Manager and Digital Producers in the early creative development and UX phase of the app. Become an expert in the CMS of the app to prepare to load content. Manage copy documentation and version control of event information published to fanevent.com and app, including but not limited to Things To Know, Transportation and Parking, and Accessibility information. Facilitate reviews and change requests with key stakeholder groups including D23, Event Production, Project Management, Legal, Accessibility, Site Producers. Collaborate with D23 Site Producers and Site PM as well as App Producers and App Project Manager to ensure pertinent event information is always flowing to the site and app as relevant. Help manage a timeline for update deadlines, changeovers, and general content management. Participate in production meetings and other planning meetings as needed. Communicate with Event Management on progress, risks, and next steps and immediately flag items that may result in changes to scope, schedule, budget, contracts, and programming. Collaborate with D23 Site Producers and Project Manager and App Project Manager to confirm and document the pre, during, and post-event states of the app and site. Deliver final editable and locked reference files for documentation and reference. Provide after action notes and participate in after action meetings as requested. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Theater, English, or Communications, or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of content management, editorial, writing, app/web development, or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and writing communication skills. Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Well-versed in project management products, including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Good knowledge of the client brand, processes, and culture. Strong self-thinker, able to make smart decisions on the fly, self-driven. Marketing/Creative Agency experience preferred. Knowledge of app and web CMSs a plus. Knowledge of Event Production and Communications a plus.
