As a Marketing Coordinator II, you’ll be provided opportunities to broaden your knowledge of construction and marketing and to develop both professionally and personally. With Skanska, you will always be moving forward and putting your knowledge and imagination to work.
Responsibilities
Producing proposals, qualifications, award submittals and presentation materials
Assisting with minor business development efforts and event planning
Implementing concepts for and production of collateral materials
Managing local database responsibilities
Interviewing staff to draft resumes and project sheet descriptions
A Day in the Life
Meeting with the Business Development and Marketing team to discuss strategic initiatives
Developing a layout for a proposal in InDesign and inputting information
Interviewing project team members for value‑added information to improve proposal response
Updating resumes and project sheets
Managing our project/personnel database in Salesforce
Required Qualifications
Three to five years of prior marketing experience in the Architectural, Construction, Engineering (AEC) industry or similar capacity
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline
Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite
The ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to different communication styles
A team‑player mindset
A willingness to learn
Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing
Understanding of the AEC industry and marketing fundamentals
The ability to think outside the box to find solutions to problems
Determination and dependability
Physical Requirements This job is performed in the office and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending and reaching. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists. You must be able to navigate jobsites and are expected to comply with all safety regulations. The work environment is deadline‑driven and fast‑paced, with projects and pursuits that may require time above and beyond the typical work schedule.
