EI&C Designer
We are seeking an experienced EI&C Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engineering standards, overseeing construction projects, and ensuring compliance with refinery and OSHA standards. Responsibilities
Develop Engineering Standards for EI&C equipment purchases and installations. Define projects by determining objectives, selecting technical strategies, and providing technical assistance. Plan projects by writing specifications, developing schedules, and identifying process design improvements. Oversee construction of EI&C capital projects. Develop project scopes, budgets, and AFEs for approval. Implement projects by monitoring performance, taking corrective actions, and providing feedback to the project team. Solve technical problems related to projects and update report data for business units. Upgrade, design, configure, maintain, and monitor equipment and performance. Analyze components, systems, processes, methods, and refinery processes. Ensure maintenance and integrity of business unit data. Design chemical plant EI&C equipment and devise processes for manufacturing chemicals. Conduct research to develop new and improved process control processes. Design and plan layouts for EI&C on a commercial scale. Determine the most effective arrangement of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls. Investigate and resolve work-in-process problems on-site at the plant supporting cap ex projects. Essential Skills
Experience in design, electrical, controls design, instrument design, and power system design. Proficiency in Electrical Design. Experience in the oil and gas industry. Proficiency in industrial and construction environments. Experience with AutoCAD. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic experience in petrochemicals. Work Environment
This position involves working on-site at a plant supporting capital expenditure projects. You will be engaging with various technologies and equipment, ensuring compliance with industrial standards and safety regulations. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
