$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

A leader in the digital media industry is hiring an Audience Growth Specialist in Los Angeles, CA for a full‑time position, onsite 5 days if local, hybrid if outside of commutable distance, open to relocation.

Audience Growth Specialist Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in SEO, audience development, or platform optimization within digital media or a newsroom environment.
• Expertise in multi‑platform optimization including Google, YouTube, and emerging AI driven search platforms.
• Hands on experience with SEO and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Trends.
• Strong understanding of evolving SEO best practices and web standards; structured data experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced newsroom environment and work nights or weekends as needed.

Audience Growth Specialist Responsibilities

• Execute audience growth and optimization strategies for major news events and daily coverage across search, video, social, and AI driven platforms.
• Partner with editorial, product, development, video, data, and marketing teams to align audience growth initiatives.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and platform research to identify content gaps and expansion opportunities.
• Optimize homepage, landing pages, and article templates to improve discoverability, engagement, and conversions.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide real time insights to inform editorial strategy and coverage decisions.
