In the role of Communications Strategist, we count on you to:
- Develop content marketing strategies and communications plans to elevate thought leadership and project work.
- Lead global and local communications strategies by collaborating with internal partners, creative, marketing, and communications teams.
- Assist in the development and management of an editorial calendar.
- Write white papers, feature articles, thought leadership pieces, and social media posts.
- Ghost‑write and edit blogs, posts, papers, and presentations for subject matter experts.
- Help develop collateral pieces and marketing campaign materials.
- Research, write, and edit project narratives and case studies.
- Monitor industry best practices and maintain a repository of trends.
- Support event management when required.
- Bring genuine, creative ideas to the table.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a closely related field.
- Previous consulting and/or creative agency experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a communications field: social media, event planning, community engagement, target marketing, descriptive writing, public involvement, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and cross‑functionally.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills with a positive outlook.
- High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues.
- Commitment to being an active participant in our employee‑owned culture.
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and managing cross‑functional efforts.
- Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
