We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Community Manager to lead and nurture vibrant residential communities. Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between residents, property owners, vendors, and staff to address inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance community engagement.
  • Oversee leasing activities including property tours, tenant screening, lease signing, and upselling available units to prospective residents.
  • Manage day-to-day operations such as rent collection, data entry into property management systems like Yardi or OneSite, and maintaining accurate filing of contracts and legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other relevant legal standards.
  • Coordinate property maintenance requests with facilities management teams using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular conflict management sessions between residents or staff when necessary to maintain a harmonious community environment.
  • Administer legal administrative tasks related to landlord‑tenant law, lease agreements, contracts, and legal notices with precision and professionalism.
  • Promote community programs and events that foster resident interaction while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Monitor property conditions through inspections and CCTV surveillance; report issues promptly to ensure safety and upkeep.
  • Support leasing efforts through effective sales techniques; upsell amenities or additional services to enhance resident satisfaction and revenue.
  • Maintain detailed records of all community activities, incident reports, inspections, and correspondence in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; familiarity with LIHTC programs is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord‑tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing policies, and legal contract administration.
  • Proficiency with property management software such as Entrata.
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability in property leasing, sales techniques including upselling strategies, and negotiation skills.
  • Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, legal documentation handling, and general administrative support.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of facilities management practices including property maintenance coordination and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to foster positive relationships within the community.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to handle challenging situations confidently while adhering to all regulatory standards.
