Assistant Community Manager

Salary: $25-$27 per hour
Schedule: Full-time; Tuesday - Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-5pm

Job Responsibilities
- Income Collection & Accounts Payable: maintain resident records, issue notices, deposit receipts, enter invoices, reconcile property credit card, and assist month‑end procedures.
- Resident Relations: promote community sense, maintain positive customer relations, inspect property, report maintenance needs, and inspect move‑outs.
- Marketing: manage ads on listing services, understand leasing phases, greet prospects, handle phone calls, stay aware of market trends, and maintain lease closing ratio.
- Administrative: update reports, organize documents, process lease paperwork, handle security deposit reports, accept service requests, and conduct follow‑ups.
- General: perform additional duties assigned by Community Manager or Regional Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2+ years experience in property management or equivalent.
- Experience with Yardi/CRM and On‑Site.
- Accounts Payable experience.
- Driver’s license and vehicle insurance may be required.

- Understanding of industry terms and regulatory agreements.

- Clear communication with residents, vendors, subordinates.

- Strong problem‑solving and time management.
- English reading, writing, speaking proficiency.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk or sit as needed.
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, climbing stairs, pushing/pulling, reaching above shoulder.
- Constant typing or writing.
- Lift up to 25 lbs frequently, occasionally 25‑40 lbs.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
