Base pay range

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Designer with experience in project management to contribute to the growth of our company and department, and lead in a variety of project sizes, timelines and scope. The preferred candidate works well in a diverse environment, and collaborates well with other peers and departments within the company.

Requirements
- Experience in a prior similar role in Architecture or Landscape Architecture.
- Architectural or Landscape Architecture license not required.
- Experience with all phases of high-end residential architecture, landscape architecture projects.
- A versatile team member that can effectively manage multiple tasks or projects, with diverse team members.
- Excellent graphic and design capabilities exhibited through resume and professional work samples.
- Professional written, verbal and visual communication skills, including presentations.
- Experience coordinating with consultants such as General Contractors, subcontractors, civil, structural engineers.
- Experience collaborating with a range of peers, and other company departments, and demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience in documenting existing site/ as-built conditions, and documenting those conditions in a clear and concise manner whether it be written or in drawing.
- Have a thorough understanding of construction documents, materials and construction methods.
- Proficient or have working knowledge in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite or similar products.
- Proficient in product or materials research to outline specifications and project manuals.
- Knowledge in navigating local zoning and building codes, as well as accessibility requirements.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn horticulture, and landscape science, practices, and aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Have the technical and leadership abilities to plan, organize, and manage the efforts of a project to produce high quality work within an allotted time.
- Able to work independently, or as part of a team with strong organizational skills.
- Assist in the growth and development of company culture and standards.
- Prepare presentation materials and design exhibits, including any 3D modeling, presentation drawings, diagrams and renderings per individual project needs.
- Assist with the development and production of design drawings in all phases of work including, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration.
- Assist in the review of RFIs, shop drawings and submittals.
- Assist in field work including, but not limited to field reports, and site layout of design elements.
- Take direction, support, and provide aid to other Project Managers, and Managing Principals on various high-end residential projects.
- Managing project scope, take-offs, submittals, document and survey existing conditions in the field.
- Track and follow up on communication with project team members, contractors, consultants, and local municipality staff, as required.
- Track individual and project time effectively.
- A willingness to always follow safety guidelines, and have a driving license with a clean record.
