About the role
We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team in Irvine, California. In this long‑term contract position, you will play a key role in creating compelling video content that engages audiences and meets project objectives. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling through video and brings a strong technical skill set to the table.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into high‑quality video content that aligns with project goals.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts and execute video projects effectively.
- Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to enhance video quality and incorporate visual effects.
- Manage video production workflows, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality outputs.
- Create and refine digital video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve video editing processes.
- Organize and maintain video assets for easy retrieval and future use.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing software and hardware.
- Work closely with producers and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines and expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of video production workflows and techniques.
- Ability to create engaging and visually appealing digital content.
- Experience with content creation for various platforms, including social media and websites.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in branding.
- Strong organizational skills to manage video assets and project timelines.
