Responsibilities

  • Manage external communications for the Wraparound COE program including written, visual and digital communications
  • Write blog articles and other web content
  • Edit program curriculum materials
  • Graphic design, publication design, video editing, photography
  • Manage and maintain the Wraparound COE program on the UC Davis CPE Human Services website using our CMS
  • Develop and maintain communication strategies for email campaigns, social media and events in alignment with the brand
  • Produce content marketing that provides value, builds connection and credibility, and ensures brand and style consistency, logic, organization and accuracy in all work produced
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues and program staff to develop innovative, strategic and appropriately targeted content and marketing materials designed to generate inquiries, acquire enrollments, inform audiences, position our brand as a leader in the human services field and fulfill contract requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
  • Experience writing engaging and informative copy that reflects marketing goals and the needs and interests of target audiences and stakeholders
  • Extensive experience working in a high-volume communications/publications environment, meeting critical deadlines and coordinating multiple assignments at various stages of development
  • Experience working in a creative capacity with the ability to concept and produce effective graphics, fliers, publications and other marketing materials
  • Experience working effectively both independently and as part of a team with a high level of accuracy, collaboration and follow-through
  • Oral and written communication skills to interact with coworkers and clients in an efficient, productive and collaborative manner. Advanced knowledge of grammar, punctuation and AP Style
  • Extensive skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite of applications

Preferred

  • Experience in higher education or human services
  • Experience with web design using a CMS such as Drupal
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or Marketing Cloud
  • Advanced knowledge of grammar, punctuation and AP Style
