Pay Rate: $16.50/hr – $19.36/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $29.16/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

Responsibilities
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
- Partner with Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
- Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
- Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long-term students by creating a great experience.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Student & Parent Partnership
- Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing parental knowledge.
- Communicate with students and/or parents on progress.
- Share students’ goals and progress frequently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
- Ability to teach the instrument in which you are proficient (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
- Strong ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
