Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking a part-time violin/viola instructor to teach applied violin and viola lessons beginning in the spring 2026 semester.
Qualifications
Required Education: Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in violin or viola performance or pedagogy.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience: Teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to teach Applied Violin and Viola at the collegiate level.
- Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.

Work Hours
Position may require non-standard hours: day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, and/or other campus locations.
Salary
$3075.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.
