SEO Coordinator / Specialist

Our client, a well known name in the beauty space is seeking an SEO Coordinator/Specialist. This is an ongoing freelance opportunity (40 hours a week) that is remote flexible. LA based candidates preferred who can go onsite as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with SEO Articles and Content Management

Article Briefing

• Research relevant article topics, search phrases, and prompts that align with how audiences search about beauty products and trends across traditional search and AI-generated responses, ensuring our brand emerges as an authoritative and trusted source
• Transform article concepts into comprehensive article briefs for copywriters through competitive research, search intent analysis, and AI discoverability optimization
• Identify optimized headlines, key talking points, and strategic keyword phrases that maximize visibility across search engines (SEO), AI‑powered platforms (AEO, GEO, AIO), and aim to position content to be mentioned/cited by Large Language Models (LLMs)

Article Optimization & Editing

• Review and enhance finalized copy from copywriters with strategic product linking, internal cross‑references, and refinements that align with SEO, AEO, GEO, and AIO objectives, ensuring content is structured for maximum discoverability across traditional search and AI‑powered platforms
• Source and optimize images for each article with descriptive, keyword‑rich alt text optimized for search engines and AI interpretation

Article Content Refresh & Maintenance

• Update content library to reflect new product launches, seasonal trends, and evolving brand priorities, maintaining content accuracy and authority to sustain strong performance in both traditional and AI‑driven search results
• Adapt article copy for international markets (UK, EU, CA) with region‑specific product SKUs and pricing if applicable.

Reporting & analytics

• Support monthly reporting through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console (GSC) to track performance and uncover insights.

Cross‑Functional SEO Support

Social Media Integration

• Identify 4‑5 high‑performing SEO articles to promote monthly for an Instagram Story
• Prepare promotional assets and finalized creative deliverables
• Identify opportunities to repurpose SEO article content for Instagram Broadcast Channel engagement through polls and discussion prompts

Email Marketing Support

• Integrate top‑performing SEO articles into the content calendar to include in email send‑outs and promotions

Go‑To‑Market (GTM) Support

• Support content planning for product launches and campaigns, including SEO articles and FAQ development
