POSITION :

This is not a traditional Head Coach role. We are looking for a leader-coach who delivers exceptional coaching and contributes to the growth of the business through sales, member engagement, and leadership. If that approach excites you, keep reading.

At Body Fit Training (BFT) West Frisco, the Head Coach & Growth Lead owns three things :

• World-class coaching experience

• Membership consistently grows over time
• Sales activity outpaces cancellations
• Members stay engaged, train consistently, and refer others
• Coaches are held to clear performance standards
• You lead from the front and set the tone for the studio

REQUIREMENTS :

• Must meet all BFT coaching requirements
• Nationally recognized PT certification or related 4-year degree
• Previous coaching experience required
• Fitness sales experience required
• Confident generating personal sales and influencing others to sell
• Strong communication skills in person, phone, and written
• Organized, disciplined, and execution-focused
• Comfortable with accountability and performance targets
• Passion for strength training and boutique fitness
• CPR / AED certification required
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

60% Coaching & Member Experience

• Deliver BFT sessions with energy, precision, and authority
• Coach groups of up to 36 members while maintaining safety and quality
• Teach proper technique and intent for every movement
• Create an environment members look forward to attending
• Own onboarding for new members and first-class experiences
• Address member concerns quickly and professionally
• Maintain studio cleanliness, flow, and professionalism

40% Sales, Retention, and Studio Leadership

• Actively generate and close new memberships
• Own the trial, tour, and conversion experience
• Follow up with leads via calls, texts, email, and in-person
• Drive referrals from current members through relationships
• Increase attendance, consistency, and engagement
• Proactively reduce cancellations through relationship-building
• Identify at‑risk members early and intervene
• Support community events, grassroots marketing, and partnerships
• Lead, mentor, and develop all studio coaches
• Maintain coaching standards and class quality
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding coaches
• Help train and sharpen sales skills of front desk and coaches
• Coordinate with GM and Owner on staffing and scheduling
• Support studio operations and daily execution

This role requires comfort with selling and personal accountability for growth.
