UI Developer (Contract)
Location: Jackson, MS – onsite or remote with occasional travel
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Rate: $60–$70 an hour

Position Overview
- Blazor Server Expertise: Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience building applications with Blazor Server.
- Design System Experience: Proven track record of working within or building a design system, including component creation and documentation.
- UI Fundamentals: Strong grasp of user interface principles, including layout, typography, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Build reusable UI components and patterns using Blazor Server as part of a scalable design system.
- Architect and implement the front‑end structure for applications with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Guide junior designers and developers; provide mentorship and code reviews.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives; ensure alignment with design and development milestones.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and external design partners to translate design concepts into functional interfaces.
- Contribute to key deliverables including component libraries, documentation, and production‑ready UI modules.
Must‑Have Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Blazor Server development.
- Experience building or maintaining a design system, including component creation and design documentation.
- Strong UI fundamentals: layout, typography, responsiveness, accessibility.
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Proficiency in JavaScript for enhancing interactivity and integrating with Blazor.
- Experience with automated UI testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and front‑end integration with backend services.
