Position to fill: Senior Frontend Web Developer

Salary range: US$100k -$135k base with stock options

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML and jQuery
• Experience with modern, popular web frameworks such as Angular, Ember, and React.js
• 1.5+ years experience with Python and Flask (or 2.5+ years with a similar web framework, and some experience with Python)
• Extensive experience with SQL, APIs (REST, JSON‑RPC, etc), Git/GitHub (or similar RCS)
• 1+ years experience with Linux (Ubuntu and Bash experience preferred)
• Live in the United States and would be open to relocating to the NYC metro area within 6‑9 months
• Previous UI/UX design experience
• Experience with Test‑Driven Development, unit testing & functional testing, Scrum/XP/Agile
• Must be open to relocating to NYC if not living there already.

Nice to Have

• Previous Bitcoin development experience (or minimally, respectable knowledge and experience with public key cryptography and cryptographic systems)
• Experience (or at a minimum, familiarity) with the other tools and technology (beyond Flask, Angular, Python, etc) powering our stack: RabbitMQ/Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, HAProxy, Nginx, Jquery, Selenium, Travis, Docker/fig/Ansible, Wiki/Restructured text, AWS, NoSQL (Mongo/Cassandra/etc), Pingdom.
• Previous Financial Technology (FinTech) experience — experience working with financial systems’ UI/UX.
