Job Description

Well look no further; our client is a FinTech start up creating cutting edge technological products using the Blockchain for the securities and trading space.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and jQuery
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular, Ember, and React.js
• 1.5+ years experience with Python and Flask (or 2.5+ years experience with a similar web framework, and some experience with Python)
• Extensive experience with SQL, APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, etc), and Git/GitHub
• 1+ years experience with Linux (Ubuntu and Bash experience preferred)
• Must live in the United States and be open to relocating to the NYC metro area within 6‑9 months

Highly Recommended

• Previous UI/UX design experience
• Experience with Test-Driven Development, unit testing & functional testing
• Scrum/XP/Agile experience

Nice to Have

• Previous Bitcoin development experience (or minimal respectable knowledge and experience with public key cryptography and cryptographic systems)
• Familiarity with other tools and technology powering our stack: RabbitMQ/Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, HAProxy, Nginx, jQuery, Selenium, Travis, Docker/fig/Ansible, Wiki/Restructured text, AWS, NoSQL (Mongo/Cassandra/etc), Pingdom
• Previous FinTech experience — experience working with financial systems’ UI/UX
