Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Workday Financial Report Developer to join our Workday FIN team. In this role, you will optimize and maintain the Workday Financial system to support our accounting and finance operations and drive strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer in the financial module.
• Deliver meaningful metrics, trends and analytical insights via Workday reporting and dashboards.
• Analyze, design and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality (ex: Report Writer, Calculated Fields).
• Ensure custom reports function as designed based on business requirements and provide support for existing custom reports.
• Document report functions and designs to facilitate maintenance.
• Participate in report reviews, ensuring security and data privacy standards.
• Analyze impacts to reporting from new releases or system updates and recommend/apply changes.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, payroll, HR, IT, and other departments to understand business requirements and build and support all Workday related reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Workday Financials report development.
• Ability to understand business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience supporting Finance functional areas such as Financial Accounting, Banking and Settlements, Business Assets, Contracts, Supplier Accounts, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Projects.
• Workday Financials certification preferred.

Additional Information

Full‑time exempt position based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Salary: $80,000‑$130,000 annual DOE; eligible for bonus.
