Base pay range: $55.00/hr - $55.00/hr. This range is provided by Dominion Energy. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Location: local preferred but open to fully remote.

Top Required Skills

  • Experience within the last 2 years writing procedures in emergency preparedness or operations for nuclear power plants
  • Must have hands on experience in the last 6-12 months of having made changes to procedures themselves in formatting software
  • Experienced and proficient in the use of FrameMaker and Documentum/DocMan/DocEM software – 2+ years" experience preferred
  • Experienced and proficient in the Adobe suite, including performing mark-ups, distilling, and use of AdobeSign for routing signatures

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated and high level of organizational skills (ability to drive reviews and procedure issues to completion)
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills

  • PPA certification

Preferred Years of Experience

  • 3-5+ years of writing technical procedures
  • 1 year of experience in writing emergency procedures

High Level Project Overview

Supporting Corporate Emergency Preparedness procedure development for Fleet Emergency Plan License Amendment Request (LAR) changes.

Responsibilities

  • Marking up / revising procedures associated with Fleet Emergency Plan LAR changes.

Education

Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalency

Experience / Industries

  • Nuclear or a regulated utility/energy company
