Job Description

We are United Auto Exchange (UAX), a one‑of‑a‑kind dealer auto auction offering a wide range of vehicles, from national consignors and new car store trades to fleet/lease units and powersports. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle entering the auction, identifying damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues.
• Document vehicle condition by completing appropriate report, capturing photos, and entering data systematically in a timely manner.
• Maintain vital communications with Fleet Lease, Mechanic, and Detail Department – keeping each department informed of any issue(s).
• Relocate vehicles to proper staging zone post inspection.
• Resolve any customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner; advise management of all complaints or incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Benefits

Full Benefits, Paid Time Off, and 401K eligibility. This position starts at $15‑16/hour, M‑F work schedule.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and manual transmission.
• Mechanical aptitude strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Requires good time management, organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent and/or prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Must be able to lift or move items at least 25 pounds.
• Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Physical Work Environment

• Exposure to outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors and dust.
