Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Hazard Communication & Chemical Compliance Specialist for a leading chemical and environmental manufacturing company. This is a remote position. PERKS

Create, review, and approve SDSs and labels using SDS authoring software to ensure global regulatory compliance Troubleshoot SDS/label system issues and maintain label templates and WERCS data Apply GHS, OSHA HazCom, transportation, and international chemical regulations Review and authorize new chemical requests and support product development with regulatory guidance Manage REACH and country‑specific registrations, imports, and consultant/CDX coordination Provide chemical hygiene support, training, and customer responses Collaborate with EHSS and lab teams; mentor HazCom staff and support special projects QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree 5–8 years in SDS authoring, chemical regulatory affairs, or product stewardship SDSRP (Safety Data Sheet Registered Professional) preferred Transportation certifications (DOT, IATA, IMDG) preferred Certified on and able to interpret written code for IMDG, IATA, DOT, OSHA, and GHS regulations Strong chemistry knowledge and understanding of TSCA COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position offers a salary range of $115,000-$130,000+ along with a comprehensive benefits package.
