Job Description Join our boutique team in Bethesda, MD! We are seeking both part-time & full-time positions centered around design, sales, and exceptional service. The primary focus of the Interior Designer is to collaborate with customers on design projects of all sizes, successfully closing sales, while also supporting daily store operations.
The Interior Designer is responsible for residential design projects that involve a high-level of detail in custom products and interior design services for the home. Skills needed to support this role involve space planning, professional measuring, selection & calculation of product, workroom coordination, vendor management, and implementation of interior design principles to create our signature Kellogg look. The Interior Designer must be comfortable working independently on projects, yet respectfully collaborate with the retail team to mutually build the Kellogg brand. Developing strong customer relationships is essential. Traveling to client homes is expected.
We're looking for a go-getter who loves boutique retail, is comfortable working in a team environment, thrives in booking sales, and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for customers (and teammates alike). Join us!
Job Requirements
Experience in home decorating and design
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities
Bachelor's degree or similar
