Job Description High-end Residential Interiors Firm is seeking a talented Interior Designer who will collaborate with our senior design team and focus on project assistance. We are looking for an individual with a passion for luxury residential design, strong time management skills, highly organized, 5+ years relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have FFE experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior designers to develop and execute design concepts for high-end residential projects.

Assist in space planning, furniture selection, and color compositions to create luxurious and functional living spaces.

Source, specify, and manage procurement of FFE, including furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and decorative accessories.

Prepare FFE schedules, budgets, and specifications for client approval and vendor coordination.

Utilize AutoCAD to produce detailed plans, elevations, and specifications.

Maintain high levels of confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.

Research and stay updated on high-end showrooms and product lines to source premium materials and furnishings.

Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring their vision is brought to life.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.

Adapt to ever-changing demands and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.

5+ years experience in interior design, property management, preferably with a focus on high-end residential projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.

Experience in space planning, furniture selection, and color compositions.

Familiarity with custom furniture design and coordination.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Portfolio showcasing relevant design projects.

Salary Competitive, based upon experience

Location Chicago

Job Type Contract, On Site

Schedule 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday
