We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Parts Expeditor
to support our manufacturing operations. The Parts Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of parts and materials through the manufacturing process to ensure production schedules are met accurately and on time. This role reviews production schedules and work orders, monitors work‑in‑process for completeness and conformance to specifications and identifies material priorities or shortages.
Essential Duties
Examine documents, materials, products, and work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards and specifications.
Review production schedules and work orders to determine requirements, material priorities, and due dates.
Communicate with cross‑functional personnel to coordinate changes and address material shortages.
Collaborate with the Plant Manager and/or Shop Supervisor to monitor progress, coordinate production activities, resolve issues, and eliminate delays.
Manage and process all emergency job requests in a timely manner.
Ensure all parts are properly moved to the next routed operation.
Maintain a safe work environment for all shop employees while ensuring the quality of all components and assemblies.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in warehouse (manufacturing environment preferred).
Ability to lift 25+ lbs. and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Overhead Crane certification or ability to obtain certification.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Team‑oriented with good communication skills.

Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Made2Manage, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, FedEx, UPS and USPS Systems.
Education/Experience/Specialized Training High School Diploma or GED required, with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving (manufacturing environment preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities
Ability to work with Micrometers, tape measures, and calipers.
Ability to multi‑task.
Ability to read blueprints.
