iLogic Design Specialist

Zing Recruiting is partnering with a leading sports facility design, fabrication, and construction company in Louisville, KY, to hire a iLogic Design Specialist. This role focuses on leveraging 3D design technology to deliver fabrication-ready part files, manage parametric parts libraries, and improve design automation processes. This is a salaried position with a starting pay of $75,000 and offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more.

iLogic Design Specialist Job Summary:

• Pay: Starting at $75,000 annually

• Location: Louisville, KY

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week; occasional overtime may be required to meet project needs

iLogic Design Specialist Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and organize custom Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies within Vault for fabrication teams

• Lead development of Inventor & Vault processes with automation (iLogic, PowerShell, CoolOrange, etc.), including creation of parametric parts and assemblies

• Maintain standard design processes for internal and external teams, supporting manufacturing workflows

• Implement Inventor & Vault to streamline design-to-manufacturing information transfer

• Integrate design data into ERP systems for reporting purposes

• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to design process improvements

• Develop knowledge of products and suggest value engineering improvements

• Communicate design automation processes to ensure clear understanding across teams

iLogic Design Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (manufacturing, construction, architecture, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design preferred

• Proven experience in designing automation and workflows for parametric assemblies and parts

• Understanding of manufacturing/design practices and structural framing requirements

• Experience managing software implementation (Inventor or similar) for design/manufacturing workflows

• Self-starter, detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and CAD; familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office

• Passion for technology and continuous personal/professional growth
