Senior Blown Film Extrusion Operator (Plastic Bags / Liners) Job at Reva bags in

We are launching a new plastic garbage bag / liner manufacturing operation in Utah and are hiring a Senior Blown Film Extrusion Operator to lead production.

This role is for an experienced operator only — not entry level.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and run blown film extrusion lines independently
• Control bubble stability, gauge (micron) uniformity, and output
• Adjust die, air ring, haul-off, and IBC (if applicable)
• Monitor melt temperature, output rate, and film quality
• Manage regrind usage while maintaining strength and consistency
• Troubleshoot bubble breaks, thickness variation, and defects
• Train future operators as production scales
• Maintain safe and clean operation of equipment

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

• 3+ years hands-on blown film extrusion experience
• Experience producing plastic bags / liners
• Strong understanding of:
• • Bubble instability causes and fixes
  • Micron (gauge) control
  • Regrind percentage and placement
• Able to work independently without supervision

Preferred

• Experience with HDPE / LDPE / LLDPE
• Experience in bag or liner manufacturing
• Leadership or shift-lead experience
