- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the tech and media environment.
- Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as outlined in site-specific procedures.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
