Mechanical Designer/Engineer

Who are we? An established industrial integrator in one of the fastest growing industrial markets in the country. In search of a Mechanical Designer/Engineer. We have an opportunity for someone who can immediately provide expertise with the conceptualizing, designing and implementation of industrial mechanical solutions. This is a “roll up your sleeves” position. You will be working with experienced leaders to help you get it done. Our client provides an exciting and fast-paced environment. MUST HAVE AUTOMATION EXPERIENCE

Essential Responsibilities:

· Conceptualizing & designing industrial mechanical solutions.

· Modify existing designs as well as work with “blank sheet” concepts.

· Create new design concepts to meet client needs and fulfill project requirements.

· Troubleshooting and support our clients’ systems.

· Quoting/estimating mechanical solutions.

· Training junior personnel.

Essential Qualifications:

· Four (4) year degree in Mechanical Engineering (Tech) or Mechatronics and at least two (2) years’ experience. A degree can be substituted with five (5) plus years of experience and demonstrated 3D skills and related design experience with mechanical designs & fabrications.

· Proficient in the producing mechanical 3D assemblies, parts and drawings using SolidWorks. (Inventor and other 3D experience may qualify with a demonstration of ability to adapt to SolidWorks.

· Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
