Compyl
About Compyl
Compyl is a modern GRC platform helping fast-growing and enterprise organizations simplify security and compliance. We work with security, IT, and risk leaders to streamline programs like SOC 2, ISO 27001, vendor risk management, and broader security operations, without the traditional complexity. As Compyl scales its enterprise GTM motion, field marketing is a critical lever for building trust with end users, supporting sales execution, and turning real-world engagement into pipeline and revenue. About the Role
We’re hiring a Field Marketing Manager to own and scale Compyl’s field marketing execution across events, regional activations, and partner programs. You\'ll own the execution of Tier 2 and 3 conferences and events. This is a hands-on role that blends strategy, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-through, all with a clear focus on pipeline creation and deal acceleration. You’ll help define what “great” field marketing looks like at Compyl by building repeatable programs, experimenting with new formats, and working tightly with Sales to ensure every field investment has a revenue outcome in mind. What You’ll Do
Own execution of Compyl’s field initiatives, including: Tier 2 industry conferences and trade shows Executive dinners, roundtables, and CISO focused events Partner-led and ecosystem events Localized, territory-driven activations designed to support sales priorities Develop a scalable field marketing motion, with clear timelines, workflows, and expectations before, during, and after each event Build a regional and city-based event strategy grounded in pipeline opportunity, target account density, and sales coverage Drive strong sales alignment and execution Partner closely with Sales and BDRs to ensure field programs are aligned to territory plans and active opportunities Enable sales teams with the right messaging, assets, and follow-up plans tied to each event Support cross-functional campaigns, including product launches, partner initiatives, and customer community efforts, through field activations Manage full event logistics, including budgeting, vendor and venue selection, attendee communications, on-site execution, and staffing Ensure Compyl’s brand is consistently represented across all field experiences — from messaging and content to swag and on-site presence Be comfortable getting hands-on when needed, whether that’s coordinating on-site details or troubleshooting in real time What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in field marketing or event marketing within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology Proven ability to plan and execute field programs and events that drive pipeline while strengthening Compyl’s brand with security leaders. (30+ events per year) Comfortable rolling up your sleeves. Hands-on execution, from shaping programs to managing on-site details. Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate vendors, logistics, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders with precision. Comfort working closely with Sales and executive-level audiences, including CISOs and security leaders Data-driven mindset with a focus on outcomes over activity Willingness to be hands-on and adaptable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have
Experience planning and/or participating in industry events related to cybersecurity, GRC, or risk/compliance software (ISACA, ISC2, Blackhat, RSA, etc.) Prior experience marketing to CISOs or security leadership communities Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $115,000 - $160,000 per year. Geographic differentials may apply based on local market rates. This role includes an equity component and access to Compyl’s comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, 401(k), short-term disability, family benefits, and multiple paid-leave policies designed to support you both personally and professionally. Equal Opportunity
