The role will report directly to a Director of Sales in one of our 8 Theatres and Regions around the world. The role will require periodic travel as necessary (expected 25% - 35%) across the Theatre/Region to meet with prospects and clients. Responsibilities
Drive the sales process by working collaboratively with functional peers (Sales Engineers, Delivery, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Finance) to successfully close deals. Work with the region’s go-to-market team (marketing, pre-sales, onboarding, and post-sales client success managers) to meet strategic goals and enter new markets with new offerings. Build pipeline, develop and advance sales opportunities; create awareness and demand for Rimini Street products and services with territory development and field marketing support. Develop sales-qualified leads through direct prospecting, lead follow-up, networking, and collaboration with the lead generation team; establish dialogue to understand goals, problems, and needs. Contribute to prospects’ strategic vision and demonstrate how Rimini Street’s solutions address business needs. Utilize company assets to create or customize compelling sales presentations, messages, and positioning; use social and digital selling strategies to maximize opportunities. Maintain and update activities in Salesforce CRM; leverage Clari or similar tools to manage opportunities. Sell our portfolio of services and grow business with existing clients by expanding footprints and cross-selling (AMS, other Managed Services, and Professional Services); assist Renewals Sales Team when required. Qualifications and Skills
10+ years of experience selling technology solutions to large enterprise customers; 5+ years selling a range of technology services including software Support, Managed Services and Professional Services; 2+ years in Application Management Services (AMS). Track record of outstanding sales achievement, consistently meeting or exceeding quota, growing client accounts, and earning annual Sales or President’s Club recognition. Experience winning both new logos and cross-selling to existing clients; experience selling services and solutions for existing software products. Experience in a team-selling model and Renewals of service contracts; familiarity with Oracle and/or SAP markets and ERP software ecosystems is desirable. Strong understanding of sales fundamentals and methodologies (solution selling, team selling) and Salesforce.com; ability to interact with C-level executives and various business units. Ability to manage multiple deals of varying size and complexity; customer-centric with a consultative approach; persistence to drive opportunities in a fast-moving environment. Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong business acumen in enterprise software/services; ability to build and maintain client relationships. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Master’s or MBA desirable. Experience and Education
