Overview
Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Director (SRD), the District Business Leader (DBL) will lead a team of 8 Territory Business Managers (TBMs) representing two CNS products for Schizophrenia and Bipolar-1 disorder, as well as any future neuroscience pipeline products & services. This role focuses on inspiring and coaching a diverse, high-performing sales team to exceed sales goals within an assigned geographic area. It requires providing clear direction, collaboration with the field team, identifying needs and opportunities, and executing effective sales meetings while upholding all company policies.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team of 8 TBMs to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Represent two CNS products (Schizophrenia and Bipolar-1) and any future neuroscience products within the assigned territory.
Provide clear direction, implement performance management practices, and maintain high work standards.
Collaborate in the field with the sales team to identify needs and opportunities and conduct successful sales meetings.
Ensure team compliance with all company policies and maintain ethical, compliant sales practices.
Territory 8-10 reps in Lower & Western Michigan and parts of Northwestern OH. Ideal locations: Ann Arbor, Toledo, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids.
Compensation Competitive base salary (depending on experience & current comp), $65k ICP, car or allowance (your choice), all expenses paid and full benefits (401k), plus equity.
Requirements
BA/BS is required
7+ years of specialty pharmaceutical/biotech experience; 3+ years of front-line leadership within specialty pharmaceuticals; CNS, injectable experience ideal
Must live within the geography of responsibility
Driver's license must be in good standing
