Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Development Representative based in Roswell, GA. The Sales Development Representative plays a pivotal role in World Micro by establishing initial contact with new targeted accounts and delivering continued service to existing customers. The primary focus of this role is to generate qualified leads for the Global Account Manager. You will also be cultivating and strengthening customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities to expand World Micro\'s market share. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and appointment setting. This is accomplished through proactive engagement in prospecting campaigns to identify new sales opportunities and address complex supply chain issues within targeted industry segments. As a Sales Development Representative, it is your responsibility to uncover opportunities and leverage the internal resources of World Micro to secure new business. You are also responsible for maintaining accurate, current, and comprehensive customer information within the customer database to support reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant experience in lead-generation or entry-level sales Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfort with high-volume outreach Ability to quickly learn products/services and articulate value clearly Organized and metrics-oriented. Proficient in PC capabilities, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Suite, and internet usage. Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. General knowledge of aerospace/defense/commercial industry is a positive attribute but not mandatory. Ability to present and create content for higher-level meetings and discussions. Strong experience in relationship building and maintaining customer loyalty. Proven sales experience within distribution is a plus. High school diploma required; an Associate\'s or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
