Overview
We are hiring an Inside Sales Representative in New York, NY. This role requires teamwork and excellent communication skills to expand the Business Unit.
Responsibilities
Perform high-volume data entry and manage customer accounts.
Review, prepare, and process incoming quote requests via phone, email, and selling platforms; this includes part number, pricing, lead time validation, ERP review, sales order review and processing, and arranging shipments.
Understand traceability requirements and FAA regulations related to surplus, new, and overhauled parts.
Source parts through search engines such as ILS and other business relationships; update inventory and capabilities on all selling platforms.
Have a general understanding of shipping procedures including Export Compliance requirements.
Willingness to learn Aerospace compliance for Quality and Control (AS9120, ISO9001:2015).
Maintain strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work well under pressure.
Communicate professionally both verbally and via email; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to problem solve.
Qualifications
Strong accuracy for data entry; knowledge of work instructions, policies, and procedures.
Provide technical expertise to current and prospective customers.
Exceptional Microsoft Office proficiency.
Excellent customer service skills in diverse situations.
Minimum 2‑5 years of experience in system portals data entry, preferably in aerospace; experience with Quantum Component Control is a plus.
Internal and external customer service experience.
Ability to multitask and identify process issues to drive improvement.
Open‑minded self‑starter who adapts, improvises, and problem solves.
Knowledge of current supply chain management, sales, and inventory control principles (asset).
Demonstrated mastery of technical knowledge of aviation components.
Field Of Study / Area Of Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 2‑5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Aerospace/Aviation After‑Market Sales, or a related field.
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience.
Requires ITAR‑subject material; all applicants must be U.S. persons (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
