Professional Development Program (PDP) – Overview NCB’s Professional Development Program (PDP) is a highly selective, 12-month rotational training initiative designed to develop future leaders in banking and finance. The program targets high-performing recent graduates—primarily Finance majors—with a strong interest in credit analysis, relationship management, and socially impactful finance.
Program Objectives:
Comprehensive training in credit analysis and risk management
Exposure to banking products, financial services, and capital markets
Hands‑on experience with cooperative lending practices
Personalized development plans, regular feedback, and mentorship
Opportunities for career placement in specialized departments post‑completion
Program Structure:
12-month rotational program with quarterly department changes
Core rotations may include:
Capital Markets
Underwriting
Finance/Accounting/Treasury
Loan Operations
Formal classroom training and real‑world deal exposure
Potential travel for client due diligence and training sessions
Program Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance required
Minimum GPA 3.0 required
Must be analytical, have sharp attention to detail, and good interpersonal skills
Must be proficient in Excel
Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
