A leading manufacturer in the power systems industry is seeking Materials Manager in the greater Richmond, Virginia area.
Candidates Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field is required for this role.
8 years of materials management experience in a power systems, modular system, or heavy equipment manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated understanding of electrical and mechanical component supply chains (HVAC components, structural materials, cable assemblies).
Thorough knowledge of BOM structure, demand planning and material requirements planning (MRP).
Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in overseeing all facets of materials planning, inventory control, and logistics to support smooth and continuous production operations.
