Job Description : The Receptionist is responsible for providing excellentcustomer service to residents, visitors, and staff members. The Receptionistwill perform various administrative tasks, answer phone calls, and assist withinquiries. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills,computer proficiency, and experience working in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities : • Answer incoming calls,transfer calls, and take messages as required. • Greet visitors andresidents as they arrive at the facility in a friendly and professional manner. • Provide information tovisitors and residents, including directions and information about thefacility. • Maintain a clean andorganized reception area, including keeping brochures and other materialsstocked. • Handle residentconcerns and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner. • Manage and distributeincoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and packages. • Schedule appointments,update calendars, and maintain records. • Perform data entry andother administrative tasks as needed. • Monitor and maintaininventory of office supplies. • Ensure compliance withall facility policies and procedures. • Other duties asassigned by the supervisor.
Requirements : • High school diploma orequivalent. • Excellentcommunication and customer service skills. • Experience working ina healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility. • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office and other computer applications. • Ability to multitaskand work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to maintainconfidentiality and sensitivity to the needs of residents and families. • Must be able to pass abackground check and drug test.
Physical Requirements : • Must be able to sitand stand for extended periods. • Must be able to liftup to 20 pounds. • Must have manualdexterity to operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment.
