Job Description Day shift 6am–2:30p | $20/hr
As a Fabrication layout tech, you will play a crucial role in the production process, responsible for the layout and preparation of fabrication and assembly work. Using your expertise in blueprint reading, welding, and hand/power tools, you will ensure that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and follow technical drawings and blueprints to lay out and mark materials for fabrication
Perform welding tasks, including spot welding, to assemble components
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials for fabrication
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing role
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
Skilled in welding, including spot welding techniques
Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
Computer literate with the ability to work with production software
High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions This is a full‑time, temporary‑to‑hire position located in our production facility. The work environment is fast‑paced and requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with machinery and power tools.
Compensation and Benefits $20 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
