This role is based in NYC with a hybrid/remote in-office experience. Our team works in the office 3 days every week and 2 months out of the year our team works from anywhere (August, 4 weeks of your choosing).

Position Overview We’re looking for a sharp, self‑motivated and experienced salesperson who can source and close SaaS contracts within our general contractor and homebuilder vertical.
Jones has experienced incredible growth fueled by an urgent need to digitize the archaic risk and compliance process in real estate. Our AI‑powered SaaS solution has delivered amazing product‑market fit for our customers in over 6,000 buildings and 750M square feet of real estate, and growing! We have even more ambitious growth plans for the future that require our sales team to develop and nurture a pipeline of opportunities for our sales team.
As a Junior Account Executive focused on our General Contractor vertical, you will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying your own pipeline, and closing new deals with general contractors, homebuilders, construction managers, and developers. You will be the tip of the spear for Jones in this high‑growth vertical.
This is a role for someone who is hungry, curious, and motivated to build their own pipeline while becoming an expert in how construction teams manage compliance today — and how Jones can improve it.
What You’ll Do
Prospect: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through outbound efforts.
Pipeline Management: Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
Optimization: Utilize existing sales software in combination with AI to streamline prospecting, intent signaling and prioritization.
Sales Execution: Leading product demonstrations, conducting discovery calls, and negotiating contracts.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
1–2 years of full cycle experience (preferably B2B or SaaS).
Strong outbound experience; demonstrated ability to source your own pipeline and stay organized using a repeatable process.
Highly self‑motivated, persistent, and able to manage your own book of business.
Goal‑oriented with a strong work ethic.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
Coachable, curious, and eager to learn.
Resilient – comfortable with rejection and motivated by progress.
Excited about ConTech, enterprise problem‑solving, and the Jones mission.
Ability to simplify complex topics and keep conversations focused.
