We operate more than 4,000 full‑time associates across the supply chain and manage a network covering over 9.2 M square feet of large‑package distribution centers in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey, plus additional final‑mile hubs. Small‑package e‑commerce centers and manufacturing facilities exist in multiple states, with a transportation department handling ocean, air, trucking, and rail operations.

Responsibilities

Establish and promote hard‑work ethics through teamwork and collaboration with associates.

Coordinate team assignments by balancing resources with volume requirements.

Use Williams‑Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to guide daily activities and mentor other associates.

Solicit team member opinions to improve departmental operations and maximize productivity and quality.

Share business information through floor presence and suggest improvements to current techniques.

Promote safety awareness and cultivate a safety culture throughout the company; maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Work cooperatively and harmoniously with supervisors, coworkers, and others.

Control floor workflow, prioritizing team goals to ensure deadlines are met.

Track productivity, research and resolve issues, and provide feedback on productivity and quality metrics.

Train and direct a team of associates to achieve departmental and division production goals.

Persistently multitask and maintain detailed focus while performing tasks and reports.

Perform other duties as instructed.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of leadership experience.

Ability to multitask and maintain extreme detail while performing tasks and reports.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team; perform any necessary duties.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AS400 knowledge and advanced MS Excel skills; experience with all MS Office tools.

Physical Requirements

Able to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs or ladders.

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout the day.

Able to use a computer for extended periods.

Lifting and moving up to 64 lbs with or without accommodation.
