Business Development Representative Position
Based in Roseville, MI, Lucia Landscaping Inc. is a leading service-based business proudly serving commercial clients across Southeast Michigan for over 25 years. We are hiring a Business Development Representative who thrives on opening doors, making connections, and creating new business opportunities from the ground up. This high‑energy, high‑reward position focuses on generating leads, initiating conversations and closing deals with commercial clients across Southeast Michigan.
Key Responsibilities • Identify new prospects and nurture inbound leads • Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and inbound lead nurturing • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that close deals • Conduct market research to uncover trends and opportunities • Track and report on lead progress, pipeline health, and revenue results
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in the Landscaping and Snow & Ice Management industry is strongly preferred
Experience in the commercial facilities services industry is required
Proven success in business development, outbound sales, or B2B lead generation
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive edge
Experience managing a sales funnel from prospecting through close
Proficiency in CRM platforms like HubSpot and workflow tools like Aspire and Monday.com
Quick decision‑making skills and the ability to think on your feet
Strong organizational habits and time management abilities
A goal‑oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
Willingness to travel locally for meetings and industry events
Compensation and Benefits The Company offers a competitive compensation package, including an OTE range of $115,000 – $200,000 that covers base salary plus commission. This performance‑based bonus model provides unlimited earning potential and rewards top performers for their success in driving sales.
