Dining Room Manager
– Fort Worth – Clearfork Community, Tradition Senior Living, LP Traditional Senior Living is a Texas-based luxury senior living organization committed to excellence in all we do to serve our residents. We are currently seeking a
Dining Room Manager
at our
Fort Worth – Clearfork
community. In this role you will provide an exceptional dining experience for each resident and guest by maintaining a steady flow of service to the tables, delegating side work evenly to all servers, scheduling sufficient staff, and ensuring mental awareness for customer satisfaction. The
Dining Room Manager
reports directly to the
Director of Dining , who oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the community’s
Food & Beverage
department.
Responsibilities
Training, supervising, and motivating team members
Labor management – ensuring staff work scheduled hours
Purchasing within company guidelines and inventory control
Revenue tracking to accurately capture meal counts
Budget compliance
Style, quality, and timeliness of meal service; ensure quality of food
Cleanliness of dining room and service areas
Meal presentation (appealing plate, entree availability, timeliness of preparation)
Guest relations (resident/guest interaction and communication)
Maintain resident and guest meal records
Comply with cleaning schedules
Inventory management
Physical requirements: frequent walking, sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and reaching; activity level is high
Qualifications
At least one year of management and supervisory experience in a restaurant setting or equivalent experience and education
Knowledge of restaurant style service related to meal service and timing
Sense of urgency in resident and guest service
Ability to create a harmonious and team‑oriented working environment
Effective written and verbal communication in English
Highly organized in day‑to‑day operations of the food service department
Effective communication and people skills
High sanitation and safety skills
Personable and people oriented
Basic computer skills
Sound organizational and time management skills
Good judgment, problem solving, and decision‑making skills
