Key Responsibilities

Sales Development

– Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets; develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline; forecast future sales; achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

– Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders; conduct regular follow‑ups and maintain communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Product Knowledge

– Understand our product lines, including technical specifications and design applications; provide expert guidance to clients on lighting solutions that meet their needs and project requirements.

Presentations and Demonstrations

– Conduct product presentations and demonstrations; participate in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our brand and products.

Proposal Development

– Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes; collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely project specifications.

Market Research and Analysis

– Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies; gather client feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Administrative Duties

– Maintain accurate records in the CRM; provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.

Collaboration

– Work closely with marketing, product development, installation and support teams to align sales strategies with company goals and ensure smooth project execution.

Training and Development

– Participate in ongoing training; share insights and best practices with teammates.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales, preferably in architectural lighting or related industry.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence clients.

Technical acumen and passion for innovative design and lighting solutions.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field is preferred.

Salary

– Base + commission.
