What Our Financial Advisors Do
They are the personal coach to our Nation’s military families, focusing on a continually evolving financial plan that meets short‑term and long‑term goals.
They help military families manage day‑to‑day finances, build lifetime assets, and protect against the unexpected.
They engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command, supported by the local district team and Home Office.
They partner with local military organizations, military units, and other supporting institutions.
They coach families on how to build a comprehensive financial plan that includes:
Savings & banking
Investments / wealth management
Insurance / risk management
What We Offer
A specialized licensing and comprehensive training program designed for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
Full sponsorship of your pursuit of registration and licensing as a Financial Advisor.
Support to prepare and test for SIE, S6, S63, S65, and state life & health licenses.
Offer to join a paid training program with a local district office after successful licensing.
An initial hourly wage (minimum wage) for the first three months, with transition to a salaried position and progressive incentives during the nine‑month paid training period.

Opportunity to become an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command, controlling your career trajectory and compensation.
No cap on earning potential – compensation based on commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.
