Designworks Talent
Sales Development Associate (Early Career | Architecture & Design Industry)
A growing
boutique design and manufacturing company
is seeking a
Sales Development Associate
to support a consultative, project‑driven sales process serving the
architecture, construction, and design (AEC)
market.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in
B2B sales, client relationships, and the built environment
while working closely with experienced sales leaders in a collaborative, people‑first setting.
About the Team We’re a
boutique design and manufacturing company
where people genuinely know each other, collaborate daily, and learn by doing. Our team is small enough that your work is visible and your contributions matter — but experienced enough to offer meaningful mentorship and guidance.
You’ll work directly with seasoned sales professionals, designers, and product experts who enjoy teaching, sharing context, and helping teammates grow. This is not a large, layered organization where work disappears into a system. It’s a hands‑on, collaborative environment where you can clearly see how projects move from concept to completion.
If you’re looking for a place to
learn, contribute, and build real relationships , this team offers that experience.
About the Role As a Sales Development Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting active sales opportunities and helping projects move smoothly through the pipeline. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to how products are specified, quoted, and sold into real‑world construction and design projects.
This role offers
strong training, direct access to senior team members, and clear growth potential
for someone interested in building a long‑term career in sales, account management, or business development.
What You’ll Do
Assist with preparing informal and formal quotes for active sales opportunities
Support outside sales representatives and regional sales leaders on live projects
Serve as a consistent, professional point of contact for clients throughout the sales process
Track opportunities, activity, and follow‑ups using CRM tools
Review drawings, specifications, and assist with basic take‑offs (training provided)
Coordinate internally with design, operations, and product teams
Support sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateralLearn the products, market, and consultative sales process through hands‑on experience
Share client and market feedback with internal teams to improve processes and offerings
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills and a client‑first mindset
Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
Interest in sales, client service, or the architecture/construction industry
Experience & Education
0–3 years of experience
in sales, customer service, account support, or a related role
Exposure to architecture, construction, design, or building products is a plus —
not required
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) is helpful, but training is provided
Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, communications, marketing, or related field)
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary
plus performance‑based incentive/commission opportunity
Comprehensive health benefits (multiple plan options available)
Paid time off and holidays
Flexible, professional, and collaborative work environment
Opportunity to grow with a stable and expanding boutique organization
Additional Information
Full‑time, direct‑hire position
Onsite in Denver office
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Background check required
Valid driver’s license required
Why This Role? If you’re looking to break into B2B sales, learn from approachable experts, and grow within a close‑knit team where your work truly matters, this role offers the exposure, mentorship, and environment to do just that.
