Architecture, Design & Creative Industries - Interior Design Recruitment Specialist
About the role:
A boutique, design-forward interior design studio is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join its team and contribute to a portfolio of thoughtfully crafted high-end residential and commercial projects. This is an opportunity to work in a close-knit, creatively ambitious environment where design excellence, attention to detail, and collaboration are central to the studio’s approach.
The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented designer with a strong design foundation and a desire to take on increasing responsibility. In this role, you will play an active part in shaping sophisticated interior environments, supporting projects from early concept development through construction and installation. You’ll collaborate closely with senior designers and project partners while continuing to grow your technical and creative skill set.
This position offers meaningful exposure to beautifully executed projects, hands‑on mentorship, and the chance to advance within a studio that values craft, creativity, and professional development. Compensation and benefits are competitive and aligned with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design and delivery of high‑end residential and commercial interior projects across all phases Assist in concept development, space planning, and material and finish selections Prepare drawings, schedules, and presentation materials that clearly communicate design intent
Contribute to the development of construction documentation and interior detailing
Coordinate with project team members, consultants, and vendors to maintain project momentum
Assist with FF&E research, specification, and procurement documentation
Help track project milestones, deliverables, and design updates
Participate in design critiques, project meetings, and site coordination asheg
Key Skills / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field from an accredited program
4–7 years of professional experience working on high-end residential and/or commercial interior projects
Strong design eye with a thoughtful approach to materials, color, Michael, and spatial composition
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with SketchUp or Revit is a plus
Working knowledge of construction documentation and interior detailing
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative, proactive, and eager to continue developing as a designer
