Commercial Lines Small Placement Specialist

Acrisure is seeking a Placement Specialist, Commercial Mid/Large to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing and executing key components of the new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts. This includes overseeing timelines, conducting exposure analysis, preparing quote specifications, negotiating coverage terms, and presenting comprehensive proposals to clients. The role requires close collaboration with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and seamless communication. Responsibilities

Timeline & Process Management: Maintain timelines and processes throughout the new business and renewal cycles, including exposure analysis, quote specification, coverage offer negotiation, and proposal presentation. Communication: Effectively communicate within the team and with markets. Policy Review & Recommendations: Review insurance policies and contracts and make improvement recommendations. Submission Preparation: Prepare property and casualty insurance submissions for new business prospects and renewing accounts, including insurance specifications, ACORD applications, loss summaries, prospect profiles, and exposure schedules. Data Analysis: Analyze Excel spreadsheets of prospect exposure and loss data and develop financial models for loss-sensitive programs when necessary. Market Relationships: Maintain relationships with various insurance companies and wholesalers. Confidentiality: Handle confidential and non-routine information with care. Carrier Systems and Comparative Rating Tools: Rate policies in carrier systems to support quoting and proposal development. Licensing Compliance: Maintain all licensing requirements, including continuing education. Professional Development: Attend seminars, company meetings, carrier events, and educational activities to improve job expertise and product knowledge. Coverage Analysis & Strategy: Perform coverage gap analysis and provide strategic coverage recommendations tailored to each client’s risk profile. Project Work: Work independently and within a team on special, non-recurring, and ongoing projects. Risk Resource Engagement: Identify opportunities to engage Risk Resources for specialized expertise and partnership on complex client needs. Requirements

Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and accept directions for assignments. Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines. Strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy. Effective teamwork and strong customer service orientation. Experience with broker/agent, marketing large middle-market accounts to carriers, and excellent market knowledge. Strong knowledge of basic applicable insurance coverages. Proficiency in creating proposal presentation documents. Education and Experience

3-5 years relevant insurance experience, emphasizing small/midsized market placements. Current applicable insurance license. Experience with Epic a plus. College degree preferred. Pursuit of a professional designation (CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU) is preferred. Pay Details

The base compensation range for this position is $45,000 - $71,000. Placement within the range is based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidate Expectations
