Position Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, generating, and driving sales growth through direct engagement with end users and distribution partners. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing and post-sales support, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will provide product demonstrations, application guidance, and after-sales assistance to customers as needed.

Domestic and international travel will be required for customer visits, training sessions at company headquarters, and participation in trade shows or industry events. The ideal candidate is goal‑oriented, organized, and customer‑focused, with a strong understanding of technical sales and account management. This position will be based remotely, preferably in Texas or Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Drive day‑to‑day sales with regular interaction with direct customers and distributors within territory.

Maintain and expand the existing customer base through account planning and regular customer engagement.

Become a trusted advisor to key customers by gaining a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.

Strengthen geographical market presence for Technology Design and Phoenix ISL products.

Update the CRM daily with customer interactions, opportunity pipeline details, and new prospects.

Prospect customers, follow‑up with sales leads, issue quotes and/or prepare bid applications.

Develop, maintain, and grow the sales pipeline to meet growth targets.

Provide regular and accurate sales forecast for management reporting.

Develop and maintain key relationships with customers’/decision makers/users of the instrumentation.

Perform product demonstrations or training as required.

Strong team player willing to support all areas of the business as required.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

Associate Degree in a technical or business‑related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Maritime, Infrastructure.

Knowledge of ASNT, ASME, AWS, and ISO standards applicable to NDT.

Hands‑on experience with NDT scanners, automated crawlers, and advanced ultrasonic inspection methods such as phased array, or TOFD.

5+ years of experience in direct sales with technical products such as instrumentation, sensors, and material testing.

Strong understanding of sales strategies and the NDT market.

Excellent organizational skills along with strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

Ability to analyze sales metrics and market data.

Critical thinking skills and ability to constructively resolve conflicts.

Ability to travel up to 50%.

Willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Spanish language proficiency considered an asset.
