ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE POSITION
Assist the Property Manager in managing the day‑to‑day operations of the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greeting prospects and qualifying prospective residents.
Answering the telephone professionally and scheduling appointments.
Touring model units, preparing units for move‑in, and closing sales.
Assisting with posting rent, notices, and other administrative duties.
Preparing monthly newsletters, flyers, and resident correspondence.
Marketing through community outreach, attending association functions, and chamber meetings.
Accepting and processing residency applications, fees, deposits, and lease agreements.
Following up on lease renewals, recertifications, and service requests.
Assisting with maintenance requests, ordering supplies, and performing exterior upkeep (grounds, trash, weeds, pools).
Accepting rental payments and maintaining a courteous attitude towards residents and prospects.
Being able to temporarily fill the role of Property Manager or Leasing Consultant during absences or vacations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Computer and word‑processing skills.
Minimum 40‑hour work week with availability for weekend staffing needs.
Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and ability to travel to the property and surrounding area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand, walk, or sit for up to 60% of the workday; 40% at a desk.
Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs.
Frequent use of hands for opening doors, retrieving supplies, and operating office equipment.
VISION REQUIREMENTS
Frequent and constant need to read forms, review reports, and view computer screens.
Frequent need to see small details and objects beyond arm’s reach.
HEARING REQUIREMENTS
Constant need to communicate over the telephone and in person with owners, vendors, and residents.
SPEAKING REQUIREMENTS
Constant need to communicate over the telephone and in person.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Indoors 66–100% of the time; outdoors 33–66% of the time.
Occasional exposure to caustics, solvents, oils, paint fumes, flammables, pesticides (less than 10%).
BENEFITS
Entry level, full‑time position in sales and management.
Location: Evansville, IN.
Salary: $55,000.00–$65,000.00.
